Bazooka Goals is a UK brand that builds the world’s leading pop-up goals. They are the suppliers to the World’s best football clubs and official partner with some of the world’s most famous clubs such as Real Madrid, Clinics Western Europe and Coerver Coaching Europe. Their products are sold around the world and are suited to professionals as well as amateur football players. The client wanted a solid E-commerce Marketing Strategy plan to help them expand their business in new territories as well as optimize their e-commerce store. Lezzat offered the following services:
The client had experienced a significant period of growth for their products mainly driven by great PR publicity and referrals. They wanted to capitalize on this opportunity and open up their new website as well as expand their business into other countries outside the UK, such as the EU & USA. They had an in-house team of marketing assistance but lacked the experience to create a solid marketing strategy that would support their global expansion efforts.
The client wanted to increase the volume of sales across their channels. Those were wholesale, B2C, distributors as well as expanding into other countries and market segments (football academic, training grounds etc.). In addition, the client had some new products that were currently in the R&D phase and wanted to have a launch e-commerce strategy behind them when they were ready to take them into the market.
The first meeting with the client and their marketing team was done with the purpose of understanding their business a bit better and their ambitions. From the first meeting it was very clear that there was a desperate need for marketing fundamental content as well as a robust e-commerce marketing strategy and process that would support the clients’ team.
The first step in the creation of a successful e-commerce strategy plan is understanding the client’s competitive landscape and the TAM, SAM, SOM. In other words, the Total Addressable Marketing, Serviceable Addressable Market and Serviceable Obtainable Market. Once these were understood our SEO experts got into work to identify the right keywords for each territory the client wanted to target in order to create a solid SEO & Inbound marketing strategy.
Content strategy was extremely important for the client. Getting new customers, as well as upselling products to existing clients, was vital in generating additional revenues for the account.
